We met through mutual ex-boyfiends 6 years ago and have been close ever since. Her 3 year old is my godson and I miss him too. She came into money through an unfortunate injury at work. She called me when she was on her way to pick the money up and hasnt returned my calls since. We ran into her fiance and he said that I couldn't have possibly left messages because she definetly would've returned them. Lies, Lies, Lies. My feelings are hurt and I don't know whether I should swallow my pride and try to contact her again for piece of mind or just let it go. I didn't think that money would come between us. I dont want any of it, I just want my friend.

the money has nothing to do with it its really a matter of her not returning your calls there is something she is upset with maybe shes confussed. i would send a card in the mail or go to her house cuz the phones not working. just give her the benifit of the doubt. this sounds familar in a way i was in an accident and got some money and i talked with my friends for about a year after but i dont remeber to call them even if they call me i forget to call back and they were getting pissed at me and i just took them out to lunch and told them its nothing against you but i just dont do the phone thing or even send cards, i told them i will always be there if they needed me but its all a matter of choice and my choice was to do it that way cuz i dont like people mad at me. maybe your friend doesnt think much about it. if you wanta speak with her go see her and if you wanta see your godson go see him dont not go cuz she didnt return a few calls or how many ever calls you made

Don't loose sleep on this. Money runs out eventually. Real Friends last a life time. Seems to me she doesn't know the value of a friend so how much more can she know the value of money. Keep in mind money is a mood changer.

i had a best friend once same thing i didn't call her and after 5 years i called her it was the wrong number now i cant find her, so yes call your friend if you don't you will not forgive yourself.
