why do most of hispanics like rap and hip hop?

most of the hispanic guys in my school like rap. Why? I'm not against that, but I think it should be more diverse.

Do you really believe in what you are saying? What does it matter. And to be truthful...not all Hispanic guys like rap and hip-hop. They DO like a diverse taste in music. I grew up in Chicago and all the Hispanics I knew listened to EVERYTHING...even country music (hard to believe I know, but I wouldn't lie!!!) You just need to worry about yourself and not worry about what others are doing or listening to...as long as they aren't hurting anyone, what does it really matter? Oh, by the way, why should it be diverse? Because YOU think so? If that is the case...I think you need to learn how to be more civil and allowing of others enjoyment to be their own!!!

well i know a lot of white kids like that too

but to answer your question, hispanics get treated like us, they have the 2nd worst reputation, blacks are 1st. my cousin lives and atlanta and i asked how come a lot of black people dont care if they say it and he said because they treat them just like they treat us blacks. i think that the race hispanics can idetify most with is blacks because again we are the closest thing to their skin color, and also because we probably accepted them more than white people. i really dont know but that is kinda my opinion WHY DONT U JUST ASK THEM

its becoming part of our culture im guessing.. just like oldies and music like that.. no offense to anyone but i only listen to mexican rap.. i like some rap by african americans too but i just feel the mexican rap is more underground and in my opinion its just better
