This is a challenge for gifted American students as well...when you say very good, do you mean great? Are you getting straight As - equivalent to scoring 4.0, or above 90 percent for every class? (The average student admitted into Harvard had a 3.7 or higher Grade Point Average on a 4.0 scale and was in the top 10 percent of their class.) You will need to do exceptionally well on the standardized entrance test - probably above 1250 on the SAT as a minimum, but over 1400 to be honest.
But high scores arent the only factor, because everyone who applies has them. Harvard will look at other factors as well... Have you overcome any major obstacles? Do you have a lot of exposure to multi cultural experiences? Do you have a special talent that makes you stand out? Have you made unique contributions where you made a difference? Look at public service of some kind - working with a charity, helping make your community better, or working on some cause.
You will also need strong letters of recommendations from your teachers, write a very strong application essay. Having good extracurricular activities also a must.
The truth is that about 90% of people who apply to Harvard, other Ivy League schools or Stanford aren't admitted.
It's not wrong to dream about getting to Harvard - work hard and do your best and you might get in. If not, there are many fine Universities, both in the US and in Europe (Oxford and Cambridge come to mind) - and good luck!

Do well on their admission test and have an excellent background in which can show them your beautiful transcript and have a lot of money.

Most of all the privates universities in US are quite expensive, from $45K per year and up (depending on the program) but if you're intelligent and brilliant in everything you can a half scholarship or perhaps a full one in which they pay you about 80% of your studies and you'll only have to pay a little part.

Good luck and keep going into your dream!

Keep on doing what you are doing. Try to get all As and don't give in to anything that will push you away from your dream. You might get a scholarship so you wont have to pay all that money to go to Harvard. If you don't think you can get to Harvard just remember that if it is your dream you will find a way to accomplish it.

Do well on the entrance tests. Write well. Get excellent grades in hard classes, and last of all get adopted by a family that donates tons of money.

Say you hate illegal immigrants. No, just kidding. Get good grades and a lot of money. My grandfather went there, and he liked it. I myself have a very good chance of getting in there because of him.
