I want my son to understand that life is not about money ( that's why I want his present to be under $50). I want to make sure it is not something that will make him lazy. I don't know much about him. the only time I see him is once a month during his classes, because his mom will not give me their address, which is required by court order. I need some ideas, please help

the best gift would be something that he could either use or keep it as a part of the room, i would suggest a spanish guitar, it is cheap and very good, even if your son has it will be special for him, if he doesnt have he will learn to like it and each time he will remember you as the one who gifted him this talent, trust me go for it, if u dont find it good im me on nooroid to convince u

Buy him something having to do with making crafts, who knows, you might give him a new hobby.
