I'm in middle school, just to let everyone know.
I'm not very popular, but I a lot of friends, and I'm glad I'm not popular.
The reason is because those girls are stuck-up and mean to everyone.
A lot of those girls don't like me, though.
I won't mention names, but almost all of them.
They really don't know me, and yet, they still hate me.
My mom said they're jealous, but I don't understand how they could be.
Anyways, yesterday, I got my hair done.
I got it layered, and it's really blonde.
It was blonde before, but not near as blonde as it is now.
I LOVE my new hair, and I love the way I got it cut.
Here's the problem: Last time I got my hair done, when I came back to school, those girls made fun of me.
I liked my hair before, too.
I just like it better now.
Even though they made fun of me, I know it looked good.
I got it done proffessionally anyways.
Well, my hair looks even better now, but they'll make fun of it anyways, like they always do.
What am I supposed to do?

And it bothers me, because I don't want anyone to make fun of me.
Last time I got it done, when I came to school, I felt really confident about it.
Then, at the end of the day, I felt awful.
And, this one girl that's mean, said,"Abby! Your hair!"
And this one mean girl was using sarcasm to tell me it looked awful.
I felt bad, and now I'm afraid they'll do it again.
I go back to school tomorrow.

Serena, I believe it says my name is abby m, not abby b. I only have one Serena in my grade, and she's not popular OR mean. Of course, though, you said you're using a fake name.
If you are one of those girls, then you're ugly, cause all of them are.

You just need to ignore the taunts that are givin you. It sounds like youre ready for what every they want to throw youre way so just go and enjoy it. dont let any one else dictate how you should feel about youre hair. if you like it then be happy with youreself. good luck.

Being a kid is not fun a lot of the time. I hate to break this to you, but those other girls aren't jealous, they're just mean. Don't worry though, things get easier after high school (I know you're in middle school, but time flies).

Go off to college, have a blast, and one day you'll look back at all of this and laugh. Trust me, the best revenge in life is success, so study hard and become a doctor or a lawyer and then when you see all of those mean girls at your high school reunion you can laugh at their failures (just do it after the reunion, no need to be mean during it).

honey school can be a cruel place.
your mum is right about them being jealous if they tease you about your hair . i no its hard but one day you will leave school and those girls will relies how awful they were and really regret it.
i no this doesn't help you now but girls like that are not friends you want!!!!!!!!!!!!!! stay with the friends who treat you right.
if its at all possible try and avoid them as much as possible , hang out in the library or places they wouldn't go. just remember your better than them. and honey you will be a stronger person for this.i wish i had better advice to give you but no matter where you go or where you are their is always people like this around. try ignoring alot of what they say and dont take it on board they dont loose sleep at night about it and neither should you.
good luck honey i wish you all the best and just remember school isn't for ever your life will Begin when your finished !!!!!!!!!!!

If you have a lot of friends, why in the world would you worry about what only a few of them think?
Spend your time concentrating on being a good friend to those you like and forget the rest. They just aren't worth the hassle, and at your age, there's plenty more going on to occupy your time.

Listen' Don't let other kids make you feel small. It doesn't matter what they think. What matters is how you feel about yourself. If you love yourself people that matter will see that in you and want to be you friend. The ones that like to tease others are just trying to make them selves feel better because of there own insecurity.

They are just looking for something to tease you on. Even if you did a complete make over and you looked better than everyone in the school they would still be teasing you. Trust me, in private they are saying that you looked better but are afraid to say it among themselves due to they don't want to be teased by their own peers to saying you look good. Be you and ignore them .

don't let others get u down. i agree with ur mom that they're just jealous of you. my mom tells me that too. but my friends dont tease me much about thigs but i do have a lot of friends too. what matters is what you think of yourself, not what others think of you. they're just like stereotyping you and that's kind of a bad thing. they can't just judge you without knowing u first. that's mean. who knows? u can be a model someday, while they end up as janitors?
