Supposedly its a violation but these questions remain . Even when they are made by people who are narrow minded. The world goes beyond one country .I am south american and I would never classify hispanics as whites but yet most Americans would .

sorry it goes both ways ..role reversal .here is another example I hate these questions as because if one person from one race is bias they make their questions to generalize a whole race and try to spread hatred between people ...is terrorism really in our own backyard ?

I too have asked myself how racist questions remain while others are deleted. But, in fact, the question you provided the link for is certainly not the worst I've seen.
On another note, I'm glad to see a South American who doesn't clasify himself as white. I disagree with you that most Americans consider hispanics (Latinos) as white. I don't. I don't think most others do either. However, I've met enough Latinos who consider THEMSELVES white. It's not so much about skin color, it's more about status and shedding the connotations of being a "minority."

For the same reason you are allowed to post racist statements saying that most Americans would consider hispanics white. The reason that I say this is a racial statement, is because you say most Americans. Since the majority of Americans are white, I take it you are referring to them. I suppose that you have been to America and met most of the people, since you make this statement? If a question or statement made on here bothers you that much, why do you look at it or make an issue of it? If it is stupid, ignore it and go one. All this goes to show is that on top of you having a racist belief, you are judgmental. I would be careful before you start pointing fingers at others. I wish people would get off this PC kick they are on. God forbid, someone might get their offended. If that is the worst that people have to deal with in their life, I think they are doing pretty well.

I don't like those latinos that are brown and fit in the stereotype and want all latinos to be lumped together in the stereotype. Latinos belong to different races, ok? Is it so difficult to swallow? By the way, you're such a proud "South American", have you ever been in South America? What do you know about South America?

Well some hispanics "look" white.
I think racial classification gets silly sometimes. Does it matter whether I call you white or whether I'm nice to you and I respect you? People forget what's important when it comes to all this race stuff. Its annoying.
I suspect that it is very expensive for Yahoo to find every annoying question so that tend to delete the ones people complain about.

Well I agree with you. And by the way the first guy 'is' a racist.
The only these question were still there is because no one reported them. We are the ones who police ourselves.

I do not give a rat's bum about what colour a person's skin is, what religion they are, or what country they are from.
As long as they are a decent human being that's all that matters.

a human being is a human being is a human being. we all have the same human instincts as we all are born, cry, eat, reproduce, die, etc. why should skin pigment make one better or worse than another.
