Yes and no. True love looks beyond the flaws and chooses not to be critical of them, which is sort of like being blind, but not exactly. When people talk about the kind of "love is blind" where you wake up one day and realize you've been dating a toad, that was most likely not true love, but rather a temporary ifatutation, often accompanied by large amounts of alcohol!

I am half french so I can tell you about love & true love.
and blind love. Blind love means "coup de foudre" which
means you are blindly in love with the person you meet
and extremely attracted to him/her. In that states
your sense of logic , rationality is lost and you are actually
vulnerable. If it is mutual then it is blind & true love and if that happens to you , you should enjoy every second of it. Blind love does last long. Real love takes time to establish itself .

Well, you have to define love. If you take it to mean affection for another person, then it's blind, if it's attraction, it has 20/20 vision for guys and maybe half-blind for women.

For guys it is. Truly for guys. Guys fall in love before they have relationships, girls need a relationship in order to fall in love. So there u have it. I may be wrong in some cases but thats a majority stat that hasnt yet been wrong when it comes to love.

Love is, but lust isn't. Think about it. When you are first attracted to a person, but don't love them looks are an important part of that. Now think of your family or best friend, or anyone that you have come to love. That love is unconditional. If they were disfigured in some way you would still love them.

I believe that love itself is indeed blind. But that's because love is an emotion or an idea, you can't necessarily see it.
