Yes and that is something I do with any new encounter from the very beginning! Although sometimes I can have intuitions to protect myself against bad vibes I might receive...But I always give a chance at the beginning, even if the people around say such & such about the person. Their experience is not necessarily the one I am gonna have! Most of the time I end up becoming friends with people that normally could be potential enemies!

The old adage, "trust is hard won and easily lost" is very true.
It works for me. The bloom if innocence has been replaced by reason.

so my trusting people is very
non existent for the most part,
for some people, their trust in you
are ways for them to use you
and take from you your dignity
and goodness that you wanted to
give them as a gesture of being
open to their needs, TRUST is
another word for GAMBLE

Oh yes, I usually trust people very easily , and that is very wrong.

For me people are innocent till proved guilty.

I used to trust everyone.....I'm still very trusting, but now I'm a bit more wary too.

We usually have to learn things the hard way, unfortunately. Sort of like when our parents try to make us learn from their experiences, it just doesn't happen.

yes ..I admit I sometimes regretted trusting them and sometimes not but I know that they sounded very honest that made me trust them in advance!
