Look up your state's 8th grade history standards. You can usually find them online. Like for California, we go under the California Dept. of Ed website, and then we can click on the standards. You'll see what you need to know for this subject and grade level. Or, you can ask your teacher. He/She is there to prepare you...it shouldn't be kept a secret.
