A friend of mine made a short documentary using this title, and it was really interesting. So I thought I'd ask the more mature people on here what you would do if you were 22 years old again? Would you change anything, wish you had done something etc?

This is such a good question, I'm 22 and life is already flying by so quickly, i've been thinking of what life will be like 10, 20, 30 years from now and i know im going to wonder if i've done everything i wanted to. So im just being smart about things now and living life not stressing about how fast i have to make the next dollar or who has the biggest house and 3 cars, nothing like that, im enjoying life one day at a time and planning to travel more than i already have. I take time to jump in puddles or play in the rain or blow bubbles into the sunshine, and take tons of pictures. When im 50 years old I will remember how nice doing the little things in life are and i will be happy that i took the time to do them. :]

I'm keeping this on my watchlist so I can read everyones answers, maybe theres something else I could be doing that i might wish i'd done when i'm older.

I'm 22 now! The thing I am going to do that I have not already done is put money in my 401K. Also finish my family tree by adding photos to it. I'm sure my future kids will appreciate that. Wear clothes that I wont be able to get away with when Im 32... Besides that I'm doing everything I ever wanted to be doing.

Hmm! I just turned forty several months ago. If you want my honest opinion I feel better and look better and overall live a better life than I did back then. But I would not have the life I have now had it not been for all the efforts and sacrifices I made back then. So my answer is I would probably do everything more or less the same.

I'd get married again just the same, this time knowing that I would never make it to 44 w/out having done so.

I liked the first answer though, see that's what happens when you end up in an old folks home!

Hi
Well I would travel, its the only regret I have.... I had no worries or responsibilities then and so I could have just taken off..... there is no way I can do that now...and I don't have the money even if I could get some time off now....so you see you have to seize the day! I will get some travelling done at some stage in the future!

I would change a few things if I could, but I can't. Anyway, I'm 22 now. I wish I could go back to a younger age sometimes, too.

I would have married my girl friend at the time. She was the one that I let go through my fingers. I regret it to this day. I have made many mistakes in life, but I do believe that to be my biggest.

I always wished someone would ask me this question..
yes i would change my attitude that i had back then.. undo some mistakes i did, concentrate on my marriage more.. and be more spiritual religiously ..
I guess that would be it.. other than that i won't change a thing !!
