There are no starving Americans in shelters who don't want to be there, first of all. Second, the problem with America is work ethic and money management, not whether the government gives us enough. Whenever the government scrounges for borrowed funds and lets it rain down onto the populace, people simply send it right back to the big corporations and the government. It's like the rain cycle. Meanwhile, the government's real job of managing international affairs and protecting our borders so the civilians can do business and grow the country (not leech it dry like so democrats are claiming is the only resolution to civilization) - the government's real job of supporting nations like Israel and South Korea is what we must do. Those countries are some of the few that stand for freedom. They are strongholds against the imperialism and the communism and the totalitarianism that has threatened America since our founding. And those countries are under attack because they are smaller than America, but unless you want to live like the fringe populations of China, who are at risk of genocidal poverty, or the Jihadists of Palestine, who are at constant war to decide which theocracy is most valuable, or even the socialists of Europe who can't maintain an economy besides having a silver spoon since WWII (Thanks to the USA), then you've gotta support our country. And as it is, we are supporting our country by building it and growing it and working hard! But the government has to support our country in a different way. It has to maintain our relevance on an international scale. That means strengthening the nations that are extensions of ourselves, like Israel, South Korea, possibly some south American countries like Chile. But it the people of the USA are constantly buggering for money from the government because they can't pull off what they did before, either because of weakness, stupidity or liberalism, then we're not just pulling the USA down from the inside, we're ripping apart capitalism and democracy worldwide. We started it. We must maintain it until other nations can maintain it themselves. SO that's how Israel is worth government funds and American citizens are only worth what they can reasonably produce in a free society where the things we call poverty are so wealthy that countries in nations the US is trying to conform causes death, not merely a suspension of DirecTV service.
