Don't know who. But what is hypocritical about choosing the best education for your child? Given a choice most parents (with any sense) would take this course of action. Besides there's nothing in the Government's policies that discourage any parent from free choice in education.

Wish I knew - the Hughes woman looks a likely candidate - typical supercilious hypocritical New McLabour Nanny.
Not good enough for us - but it will do for the prols. i.e. Us!

Mondays update - the cat is out of the bag - it is dear old Ruth Kelly - well I never!

Well Beverley Hughes is the Childrens' Minister I think. My mum told me some MP had sent her kids to a fee paying school but I didn't think to ask who.

Just found out, it was Ruth Kelly who is sending her son to a private school, he has severe learning disabilities and she intends to send him on to a state secondary. sorry to mis inform you.

Well, who would have thought it..
A cabinet minister ,Ruth Kelly, telling the nation that state schooling is failing.
If it was any good, would she have opted for a private school for her son.?
