Uniform motion means steady basically. Either with constant velocity or constant acceleration. Non-uniform means velocity and/or acceleration are changing in unpredictable ways.

Uniform motion means equal distances in equal intervals of time. Accelerated movement does not fulfil this criteria. It is not uniform motion. What your teacher wants to say is uni directional motion; not uniform motion. This motion may also be called motion with uniform acceleration.

uniform motion is not necisarily motion atthe same speed. uniform motion is where there is some regularity in the motion. an equal and exponential increase in velocity, is considered uniform motion.

Non-uniform motion means that the object is not changing it's velocity or acceleration but rather it's velocity or acceleration remains the same, i.e it has a constant motion.

non constant motion... (constant means its moving at the same speed, never slowing down or speeding up...)
not a formal definition... but something along the lines of that...
