I found out Friday by taking a hpt that i was pregnant yippie, my question is i was suppose to have started my period yesterday which never came of course. Today I have been spotting just a little only notice when i wipe after using the bathroom. Is this normal what is implantaion bleeding like, I didnt have this with my first so it is a little confusing. I am starting to think that im not really pregnant even though I got the postive test. I am having period like cramps no heavy bleeding or anything at all just a little spotting right now. Should this be a concern or is this normal?

Slight staining a little before or around the time you would have expected your period, about seven to ten days after conception when the cells, attach themselves to the uterine wall. Slight bleeding at thistime is common and doesn't necessarily indicate a problem with your pregnancy-as long as it isn't accompanied by lower abdominal pain.

Mild cramps, achiness, or a pulling sensation on one or both sides of the abdomen is probably caused by the strtching of ligaments that support the uterus. Unless cramping is severe, constant, or accompanied by actual bleeding(not staining), there's no need to worry.

If you feel that something is wrong, call your ob/gyn, prenatal clinic, or go to the hospital.

First thing is to never get over worried. Always ask your doctor. It is normal for some women to spot during pregnancy. If you can call your doctor I would. He or she will know your body better then us. But, if you can take it easy I would do so, I was a high risk pregnancy, every time I would start to spot my doctor would put me on light activity until it would stop. So maybe until you can see a doctor, just take it real easy. Put your feet up catch up on some TV, read a book, just do what you can to relax. I really hope this will help.
