Now a days its 60-70

65 in the UK, 60 if your a woman
But starting from around 2012, both male & female age will be 65 (equality at last!).
Then, due to aging population the retirement age may rise to 68 from around 2020.

Basically you work your guts out, then die the day you get your first pension check. YAY!

it depends on the state because each state has a certain retirement age but if they are close to that age they may have a chance to retire early

the republicans keep pushin the limit up they wont be happy until its 100. Anyway, I would say the averge is 67.

Most people cannot collect enough social security that will pay their rent and bills until they are 67-70ys old
