Of course the easiest and cheapest method would be to just shave your head. Just kidding! Actually, the safest method is to throughly coat your hair with mayonaise, put on a shower cap, and go to bed. The next morning, rinse, and have someone check for nits and lice. If still there, try again, if make take a few tries, but it's a lot safer than the prescription or over-the-counter shampoos. If all else falls, call your doctor. They should have some suggestions.

Least expensive, safest, and easiest .... Take a jar of mayonnaise and coat and rub your head and hair in it. Then cover with a shower cap. Leave on for 3 - 4 hours. It is gross I will warn you of that. When it gets warm it will run and smell. Probably aggravate any "morning sickness" symptoms you may be experiencing. After 3 -4 hours, comb through your hair with the mayo still in. Then get in the shower and wash it with your normal shampoo... NO CONDITIONER. Might have to wash it several times to get it all out. Then take the lice comb and have someone comb through each strand until nothing else comes out. The mayo smothers all living lice and kills them. It also releases the glue that holds the nits to the hair.
You can also do the same process using Petroleum Jelly, but it is EXTREMELY difficult to completely get out of your hair.
Either of the processes will cause your hair to be extra oily for a while.. probably want to lay off the conditioner for a while. And probably want to wash your hair daily until the oiliness subsides

The cheapest easiest way is to shave all your hair off. I have done this but then I am a man.
The way we found to deal with it on my daughter was to use a hair colourant or lighter which contains Hydrogen Peroxide. About 5%. I would check this with a hair professional or your GP first but I can't see it affecting your fetus.
This method killed all the lice and the eggs don't know why but can guess that the H2O2 oxidized the shells as it is a powerful oxidizer

Cover your head with either mayonaise or olive oil and put a shower cap on.
Good directions how to do this with olive oil below.
