Try something simple and easy.
It can be from ur surrounding, or u can copy from magazines.
A flower, a doll, a handphone, a pair of shoes or even a series of Christmas ornaments.

Take any photo that you like and use it as a model and draw from that. I have made amazing drawings using a photo as a guide. Almost better than an actual still-life in some respects, because a photo freezes the aspect of the reality and allows you to observe the relationship between objects that may not be as apparent by another method. Of course, it's ideal to go out and draw directly from nature or the landscape, but photos will teach you a lot. The weather being co-operative, do that too!

Draw a bird, a flower, and a beach scene - they're easy to draw, and will look great unless you've got the skill level of a 2nd grader...and details aren't difficult - just a few shells and a sunset for the beach, some grass for the flower, and easy detailing for the feathers on the bird.

I don't know what class this is for, but I suggest something simple that is physically in front of you, because I, for one, can not draw from imagination. Some examples I came up with: an alarm clock, bedside table, something out your window, stuff on your bathroom sink, try finding objects that people wouldn't normally draw to bring out your own uniqueness. Hope I helped!

You can draw your pet, mythical creature (such as Pegasus), a portrait of a friend or family member, your favorite treasure, landscape... Or draw whatever you normally draw, just not in color. Hope this helped and good luck.

Draw a self portrait, perfume bottles on your dresser, a jacket resting over a chair, a pair of shoes from birds eye view.... the ideas are everywhere.

I suggest something serene, like a meadow scene, a battleground, (use mainly oranges and reds with some black), and something completely random. Like, a a video game character having tea and crumpets with the game's enemy. Like Mario and Bowser. Or Zelda and Ganondorf. Or Sora and Xemnas.
