I have an Apple G5 with dual 2ghz processors. I just upgraded to 2gigs of ram, and I am still using the original ati 9600. I do a lot of video editing, and as of now FCP 5.0 seems to work fine but when I use Motion, it seems very laggy and takes an extensive period of time to do anything, even if it's only a short clip. I have a spare radeon 9800 pro for a PC and was wondering if it would work? is the video card the weakest link here? would upgrading the video card make Motion run smoother? Thanks

I am not familiar with the MACs.

But I can tell you that Apple uses proprietary hardware.

So even if the models are the same, your 9800 Pro for pc, will not
work in the G5. It has to be the MAC version.
