Zelda Twighlight Princess for gamecube question? *please help*?

Okay so I'm in the level where Link has to retrieve all of the tears of light for the 3rd time. I'm at the lake *Hydia or something..I can't remember* I've gotten them all exept for 2 - the one at the town square and one that hasn't really showed up yet. I need to know how to get to the town square again. I've looked at practically every opening that supposedly leads to the town but they always end up being blocked by rocks or gates. I am also in my dog form if that helps. I am stuck right now so please help me get unstuck in this game! Thank you! ....Oh and also I have seen the mermaid looking lady who wants her son. Anyone know where he's at?

The entrance to castle town is on the East side of the castle. The southern is blocked by rocks, the western bridge is missing, and the northern entrance is blocked by a gate. East is the only way in. You can get there after warping to Zora's Domain, and then following a rapid river path to North Hyrule Field, then going to the east. NOTE: My directions may be different, because I played on the Wii. If so, (if Lake Hylia is West of Kakariko), change west to east and vice versa.

The mermaid quest is next.

When you see that the zora boy is gone from the hospital, he'll be at his mother's grave in kakariko village. The one that hasn't showed up yet will appear when you catch the other bug. The last one is a boss bug you gotta fight on the lake. No clue why you can't get into town.

Just use the warp thing to go back to the area of the swimming guys. near the end of the tunnel should be one of those roots that you whistle that will call that flying dragon thing and that will take you all the way back to town.
