From your question I assume you've already had one PC with internet access. To connect your daughters pc to the internet you will need a wireless router and wireless network card on her pc. If her pc is a newer pc, she may already has the built-in wired or wireless. Check the manuals. Wireless is convenient but it's not very reliable nor it's fast like wired ethernet.

Get a wireless router, that u hook up to a cpu that already has internet access. But her computer has to have wireless capability.

Go to www.tigerdirect.com and buy a wireless router and a pci card, or laptop card, it can be expensive but if u sacrifice quality over price than it shouldnt cost that much, but if u want quality, go for linksys and make sure it is 802.11N protocol, it works MUCH MUCH faster than any other one

Wireless is really terrible...I'd suggest running wires. I know it's a pain for the short-term, but long-term wireless will cause you headaches...trust me on this one.
