I'm guessing that you're based in the US, but if things are similar to the UK then you should be OK. Let me tell you, I was wrongly advised by a waste of time careers adviser who told me I needed physics, maths to study Architecture. What a load crap. I followed this advise and failed physics, didn't study Maths and took Design technology, English and Business studies. As an Architect I've never in my life used anything other tan basic maths, basic physics and certainly never geology!!

In reality, for people who actually do the job for real, not some jobsworth advising people on careers, things are totally different. A specialist advises us on soil surveys, contamination reports etc, so you certainly don't need a qualification in geology. As for technical drawing, I can't remember the last time I did a technical drawing, everythings done on CAD apart from the odd sketch on the back of an envelope.

My advise is don't listen to anyone on here and speak directly to the uni that you are interest in as they are the ONLY people who can tell you what you need, as it is their decision who they let onto the course. Some people in the UK are even permitted to study at uni without any qualifications at all!!!

My advise, study medicine or law.

Yes you can study architecture or geology at college because you will be required to take introductory classes that will allow you to learn many of the necessary basics

it depends on which uni you're applying to, some have course requirements which state that you require qualifications in subjects such as technical drawing, whereas with some, the course requirements will not ask this of you.

You should be able to. For a major, the only classes that count are those you take in college. While taking related classes in HS would help, they aren't necessary.
