My dad is a coupon FREAK. He'll clip coupons then spend the entire day driving all over town getting whatever he needs because some stores have this on sale and other stores have something else on sale, etc.
He uses the difference in GAS!!!

It's not just an "old people" thing! But your dad is wasting gas just to save a few pennies!
He needs to figure out what he is wasting in gas as opposed to just going to the local store and paying their price. He will be surprised at the time and money he is wasting driving all over town!

If it makes him feel good to save a few bucks, let him have his sport. I clip coupons, but not obsessed about it. They are definitely worthwhile when a store offers double and triple. You just have to be careful to stick to a list of what you need. :)

Some times we do the same thing......HEY! where not that old, Anyway we like to find the best deals and the driving part just gets us out of the house.
