I think there is another definition for gravity.

Which is to take things very seriously, Like, to consider it with gravity.

So maybe there is a connection!

Cause' when you love someone, truly love them, then you have got to take the situation seriously, or with gravity.

So that you can build a home together, and not lose them. Find out their likes and dislikes, and what pleases them, what they need to keep them happy, etc.

So put this way, I can see where someone has seen a connection.

Have you seen my Aunt Edna??

Gravity has definitely set in. Her boobs completely make contact with her stomach. I can't imagine someone looking at her naked and falling in love. So following this logic I do believe I have to say that no. Gravity is not responsible for people falling in love.

(Uncle Jake must see something else the rest of us don't.)

Maybe it is. That makes me think of two songs:

'Gravity', by John Mayer and 'Falling is Like This' by Ani DiFranco

I think love is literally like falling at times, so in a way I suppose that gravity could be partially responsible :)

Directly, no. But it would be a bit hard to fall in love without gravity...so I suppose it has an effect on it but is not responsible directly.

a force is responsible for people "falling in love," and you are getting close with a concept of attraction, but most people would disagree that gravity isn't what does it. Not surprisingly they would attribute it to chemistry rather than physics.

Some say that our body chemistry is affected by the gravitational pull of the rotation of the earth. Our molecular structure is sensitive to all sorts of external stimuli. Love, however, is a chemical addiction. Our brains release certain chemicals into the body when we produce conscious thoughts of fondness and affection towards someone & certain people cause our bodies to produce chemicals that create a euphoric sense of pleasure to the mind and body that our very being becomes addicted to. This is why we experience such a feeling of physical and emotional pain when we lose someone we cared for in our lives. Our body is losing those chemicals that we have become accustomed to and, in fact, crave, on a very deeply molecular level.

Probably not. Or are you attracted to people who are grossly overweight?

If gravity was the reason people fall in love, people that are the most overweight should attract most people.

Clever question, serious answer.

No. . . just the opposite. When in love the heart becomes lighter. Yet a thought . . . for a person to allow themselves to ' fall back ' and trust that the other will safely catch them . . . To trust to extend ( fall with ) your heart in love to another and the other embraces (safely and honorably catches) your heart . . . than that could be ' gravity ' taking place.

NO
It is the LACK of gravity around the matter---one gets near it and all of a sudden-- their head is in the clouds and their thinking fills up with airheaded thoughts---they loose their footing in realilty ---etc etc etc !!!!

And, for the "Photo___" dude up topside---hate IS the result of hypergravitationals --- something--- whatever THAT matter is comes crushing in on one and suddenly the weight of the matter forces down on one to the point that they feel they are going to EXPLODE --- and in some cases (more and more of late) this ACTUALLY occurs !!!!
