No, that is just considered a shot, unless it results in a goal. A shot on goal must result in either a goal or a save. Otherwise, if it goes wide or hits the post or crossbar, it is just considered a shot.

no its off target you can hit the post all day unless it crosses the line its not a goal hence off target.
