There is a very deep chasm inside of all of us that might be described as empty, alone or scary. Some people block this but it is still there and knocks on our door from time to time.
This feeling might be welcomed like the weather; it is a part of our lives that will be dealt with . . . eventually, sooner or later.
Friends and family can help bridge this gap of lonesomeness yet the emptiest part may well be part of our personal salvation.

I grew up empty and stumbled through early adulthood dragging those same feelings around. A slow building relationship with God changed my perspective. While I felt empty at the time, I was actually learning and developing into my own person without the influence of others. I do not feel empty now and haven't for a long time. My emptiness during those years was a lack of self recognition.
