Nylon what? Clothing?

Textile Paints: these paints are water based, which means they can be cleaned up with water. They are all related and have acrylic or plastic components - that's the part that makes them stick permanently to the cloth once dry.
You can also usea fabric medium and regular craft paints.
Either one will dry quickly enough...usually an hour is sufficient...but takes more time to cure into permanance...or if using a fabric medium takes either heat from an iron or a dryer to make permanent.

I have made statues out of wood, crumpled paper and stretched nylon. After completing the statue I spay painted the statue, I used any spray paint, that was almost 10 years ago. Today I still have my statue and the paint is still there as if I painted it yesterday...
