Your best bet here is to go to court and seek custody of the child. The two week thing is thats how long it took to get from the police dept to social services. They are concerned about your age and the DUI didnt help matters. Your grandson will survive this and shouldnt have long lasting effects due to his age. Contact Wisconsins legal aid assoc for advice or hire a paralegal who is just as good as an atty but a whole lot cheaper. You may have alot to prove to the judge but will be well worth it. Hopefully Green Bay has caught up with the modern age so you should have no trouble. As an ex-Packer of long ago, and grew up in Iron Mountain, Mi, whats happening to the "pack"? And is Farve coming back as a qb coach? Good luck

Well....It sounds to me like the grandmother is not a very responsible person. DUI???? What if she killed someone? Perhaps a child. I don't think this grandmother is responsible enough in life to raise a child.
