Well generally we eat breakfast in the morning, maybe a 1/2 to 1 hour after you wake up. Dinner is generally eaten at night, after you get home from work and before you go to bed.

Depends on when you wake up. Breakfast simply breaks the fast from the last time you ate. Dinner should be eaten no later than 8pm if you intend to go to bed before midnight. Your body needs time to process the nutrients.
