I don't know if you know but that's racist.
He probably isn't an illegal immigrant. I think it's mostly that illegal immigration is a big part of Republican's view of Mexico. So they probably don't pay attention to Mexican-Americans. Maybe a court case about hate crimes against Mexican Americans would change that.
