I have found instrumental recordings, and I have looked for the lyrics by searching the stanzas, but unable to find the lyrics.
It begins, " It happened in ol' Oklahoma, One night 'neath the beautiful moon. ....
It is era 1930's or 40's

You guys are amazing!! I have been searching for that forever, and can't believe how many of you found it..My folks used to sing that as their 'travel' song, when we were on outings or camping. I am surprised that they were singing it correctly! lol.. they massacred most songs..The others were, "Have I told you lately, that I love you"...and "Beauty Lulu Walls" and they had really changed those lyrics..I guess before records were popular, they just went by what was remembered from the radio..
Thanksagain!...

OKLAHOMA WALTZ

It happened in old Oklahoma,
One night beneath the beautiful moon.
Love blossomed in old Oklahoma
Two hearts were beating in tune.
Love faded away with the dawning
And left me here all a lone.
Left me to pine for my darling,
My darling that once was my own.

(chorus)
Moon saline' on high
Please shine down with your light.
Moon saline' on high
Where is my darlin' to night.
Go send her my love
And tell her I'm pinning a way.
Waiting in ole Oklahoma
And hopin' she'll be back some day.
