I didn't know life has to have a point to be worthwhile. My mates, and people like me at uni wander round aimlessly as often as possible, skiving off responsibility as much as we can get away with, and ultimately spending all the money we can get our hands on.
I didn't know there is any other purpose beyond this one goal:
Have a Wickedly good time any time you can for as long as you can!!!!

So many people ask that question. So many philosophers try to give us an answer. We'll never know why we are here. There is a greater purpose that involves us, but we have no idea what it is. How old are you? I remember when I used to think that way. The older I get the more I understand that we are all here for a reason. It's up to you to discover your purpose in life. It's up to you to discover you calling. You have one. We all do.

Scientifically we are here to procreate and populate the earth. Do more than that. Make a difference.

OK first of all living is about making a change even small ones have big out comes. Say you help someone understand science they could become a famous scientist and cure cancer. It feels great to realize that your job here on earth is to make a difference. If you don't feel the same and it is impossible for me to change your mind fine kill your self though I am sure if you look back you will see that you have done some wonderful things. If that is not enough to stop you from killing your self then I cannot help you. LIVE

Life does have a point to it. It is what you make of it. Sometimes things happen in our lives that make us think there is no point in living but you do get through it eventually believe me. Something or someone will make you realise this and hopefully you can be happy because it doesn't sound like you are now. Try talking to someone if you're feeling down and don't listen to some of the childish comments some people have replied to you. I don't think you need to turn to god to find a purpose in life. Some people believe that and thats cool but its not for everyone. Hope this helps xx

The fact that there might be no point in life, doesn't mean it cannot be enjoyed. I'm an agnostic, and I find life interesting. There is always something to discover, to learn, to question, to enjoy or to share. That alone is enough. I don't need a point in life. Life just is...and that's plenty enough.

In my opinion the point of life is to be contented & happy, make more life, and make a difference,as no one has ever came back from death with sufficent proof as to what happens if anything,so enjoy life now will you can and be grafeful for the chance, what if your parents had never met?????

Life is just that life it has no meaning or reason for being human or animal, it's simply life, and it is up to you what you make it out to be, It really is a wonderful thing life is, when one learns to accept life without religion, then it becomes a great pleasure to be alive and enjoy the wonderful things that surrounds us.

The point in life is that God made you because He loves you and wants to give you the opportunity to love Him back. Give Him your thoughts and prayers and talk to Him.
No matter what you have gone through, Jesus went though all that and more on the cross.
He took all the sins of the world -past, present and future. Think about that. He knows what is goin on in your life and everyone elses'. Use your free will to accept Him and let Him dwell within you. We can't do it on our own, no matter how smart/strong we think we are.
