Nova scienceNOW is a great science program broadcast on PBS. I don't have cable either.

You can watch past episodes online. To see when it is aired you will have to go to their web site and put in your local information (click TV Schedules at the top):

NOVA on PBS stations--but times vary--so check your local listings.

PBS also has a number of other science programs and specials--so check on pbs.org for more information. They also have additional material related to the NOVA and other programs. (and you can find PBS stations in your area, as well).
