What are the symptoms?
Is it giving a bluescreen or a STOP code error?
Is it not showing anything on the screen at all?
If it's not showing anything. Take the battery out and unplug it. Hold the power button down for a whole minute, plug everything back in. Boot it back up. See if that works.
If it's giving a system error message... that will have to be specified.
If it says UNMOUNTABLE_BOOT_PARTITION you will need to boot into the recovery console using the windows XP disc and type chkdsk /r and press enter once you are at a c:\> prompt. (If it fails to work, you need to talk to the manufacturer)
If it says a file is missing or corrupt, try booting into safe mode by repeatedly tapping f8 when starting the computer and try last known good configuration or safe mode. Once in safe mode click start, go to all programs, then accessories, then system tools and click on System Restore. Then restore back to when it worked fine. Should that fail try the same thing as the above first, but should the chkdsk /r fail, you may want to perform a repair install of windows. If that doesn't work. Contact your manufacturer.
If it DOES boot into windows but crashes after loading into it completely, definitely perform the steps for system restore outlined in the above paragraph.
If this is a mac, call apple.

Could you be a little more specific, please? We can't read your mind. It would help to know what it is doing when it won't boot. How far does it get. Are there any error messages?
