You really need to use parentheses. Otherwise I'm just guessing.

I guess you mean:

(3 - 3n)/(n² + 2n - 3) ÷ (2n - 2)

Right?

If so that's the same as:

(3 - 3n)/(n² + 2n - 3) × 1/(2n - 2)

and you can factor everything to get:

3(1 - n)/((n +3)(n - 1)) × 1/(2(n - 1))

Now there's a trick you can do on top by multiplying both 3 and (1 - n) by negative 1:

-3(n - 1)/((n +3)(n - 1)) × 1/(2(n - 1))

And you can see that you can cancel one of the (n - 1)s, but not the other:

-3/(2(n +3)(n - 1))

Is the final answer, unless you want to multiply the denominator back out:

-3/(2n² + 4n - 6)
