lol and cena fans think we r jealous cena is the msot jealous person on the planet. he wishes he was the rock, lets face facts first. the rock got attention from women. cena gets attention from pre teen overweight girls. second the rock was athletic cena is just a body building stiff with no ability,. and third the rock left the wwe. he can come back anythime he wants but why not stay in holly wood making 20 mil per movie,. what happened to cena acting career oh yeah its dead in the water. if cena had the chance he would go to holly wood and leave the wwe also. he has no passion for the business. but cena cant act or wrestle. the marine was the biggest failure of the year. when the rock was in the wwe ratings averaged a 5.9 while cena brings in average 3.1
the wwe would trade cena for the rock in a second. cnea is no match for the rock what so ever he will never be in his league. the rock would humilate cena on the mic then ebat his ***,wwe sucks cause of cena and batista,all hail TNA

I think Matt is right... it's not that Cena is trying to emulate the Rock... but Vince is trying to find the next big crossover superstar like the Rock... Vince has basically decided that Cena is that "face of the WWE for years to come" and is trying to get him over in all of the aspects that Rock was successful at. Problem is, Vince doesn't see that Cena isn't as good (at least right now) than those other superstars in the past. "The Marine" should show him that Cena is not going to be the big crossover actor Vince was hoping for (since he's massively bucking to try and get WWE back in the mainstream eye like it was back in the 80s... hence all the stuff for publicity like K Fed, Playboy shoots,etc).
If they had let Cena and other wrestlers develop gradually and then see who had talent where, then elevate the right ones, then I think Vince would be okay, but I think Vince just picked a favorite and because he is his favorite, then that's all that matters and is going to keep trying to push him no matter what the feedback is. Yes, half the fans out there like him, but the other half hates him. Vince is not going to win over the haters by keeping the belt on Cena for long reigns, pushing him every show, doing hit or miss promos, etc. without Cena developing a better on screen character and getting some more ring skills.

i think the wwe westlers are getting smart.. i just saw cena on a subway commercial, they are finally using their fame to support themselves in a smart way, look at bret hart and others who spent a long time in the buissness and are still struggling financially b/c the wwe doesn't have retirement plans ect... actually this is a big deal in westling and there has been a long ongoing fight for a westlers union that mcman always crushes by firing anyone associated with it...

i think of the board of wwe is making an attempt to hold them up as a mix of hulk hogan and the rock, Vince mcmahon is a funds hungry ingesting boss that desires funds like while the rock and hulk hoganwere right here and all the different legends and hall of famers. there is one ingredient i will say approximately John Cena, he sells tens of millions of merchandise and thats a certainty.

exactly, you see wwe hasnt been the same without rock, or austin or goldberg because they basically dominated wwe. but i feel they deserve to be in a better place like tna where they would get more spotlight.
