Stand in front of a fan, that's at full speed, then try to sing, as you are trying to force your notes through the air coming at you, and try to make them reach to the other side, and do this as much as you can for practice! This works, believe me, cause I spent two years doing it every chance I could, and now I have a very strong voice, with power, and can project in a room without a microphone

To get more sound when you sing, you need to make sure you are breathing from your diaphragm. Watch yourself in the mirror as you breathe while you are singing. If your shoulders are going up and down, you aren't breathing the right way. If your stomach or abdominal area is going in and out, then you have it right. If you can't figure it out, try singing while you are laying down, that will help you use the correct muscles.

Open your mouth as wide as you can. Also imagine a cave is in front of you and try to sing over the cave.
