i need someone to please briefly describe the historical highlights of the american constitution for me.please give them to me, in "8th grader language" i got to do this as a assignment for my ap class, and ur suppose to pretend ur writing a brochure for some 8th graders to read and learn about the constituion

I wont do your assignment for you but I'll give you some key things to look up in your book k?

Check out the Bill of Rights (the 1st ten amendments)

The separation of powers (Executive, Legislative, and Judicial Branches)

Check out bicameral legislature.

Reas the preamble (the very first paragraph). Why was the Constitution created?
