I just went to the bathroom and after I peed I went to wipe and when I did there was a long white string looking thing on the toliet paper. Do you know what this is and is this normal?

It was probably about 4-6 inches long

It also looked like snot. And there wasn't any blood with it

Discharge happens during pregnancy. It can be just normal, nothing to be concerned about discharge.
The question is... was there any pink or red tinge to the discharge? It's possible (and nothing to worry about) that you've lost your mucus plug. If so, be calm, it just means your little one is on the way! Unless you're seeing bright red blood, I wouldn't worry too much.
If it is bothering you, give your doctor a call when you get a chance. Remember that part of your doctor's job is to listen to your concerns and address them when necessary.

It was probably your mucous plug. The plug has acted as a barrier against bacteria and such from entering your uterus during pregnancy. This plug dislodges and comes out in later pregnancy as the cervix starts to ready itself for childbirth. Delivery could be a few days or even a few weeks away. It's just a normal part of pregnancy. Yep its just discharge. As long as you do not show any sign of bleeding you should be ok, but to be safe so you stop worry, I would call the Doctor to protect you and your baby anyway .

Its called a mucus plug. Its this glob of mucus under the uterus like pluging it up.. Once that comes out you can start labor at anytime. Good Luck

It's your mucus plug, you should start feeling contractions .Possibly could go a couple days before
contractions start.

sounds like your mucus plug..sometimes they just look like a string and a cloudy or clear color..i would call your ob..just to make sure ..good luck and congrats

thats your mucus plug. sometimes there is no blood in it. it can be clear white pink and snotty looking. let your doc know he may want to check your cervix!
