Controller is reconized as Unknown USB Contrllr instead of USB HID--How to i change that?

Question

In order to update a driver for a steering wheel, the device must be reconized as a USB Human Interface Device--not a USB Controller--how can i change this?

If you have Win XP SP1 or SP2, you won't have this problem. Run windows updates or download it from Microsoft. The SP1&2 has the usb driver. You also can go to the steering wheel manufacturer to get the driver.
