Mostly I would have taken more time with everything and given more of my time to my children when they were young. I would have stopped and smelled the roses. I would not have rushed. I would have taken the time to truly experience and enjoy every moment. I think this quote from Erma Bombeck says it all for me:
If I had my life to live over, I would have talked less and listened more.
I would have invited friends over to dinner even if the carpet was stained and the sofa faded.
I would have eaten the popcorn in the 'good' living room and worried much less about the dirt when someone wanted to light a fire in the fireplace.
I would have taken the time to listen to my grandfather ramble about his youth.
I would never have insisted the car windows be rolled up on a summer day because my hair had just been teased and sprayed.
I would have burned the pink candle sculpted like a rose before it melted in storage.
I would have sat on the lawn with my children and not worried about grass stains.
I would have cried and laughed less while watching television - and more while watching life.
I would have shared more of the responsibility carried by my husband.
I would have gone to bed when I was sick instead of pretending the earth would go into a holding pattern if I weren't there for the day.
I would never have bought anything just because it was practical, wouldn't show soil or was guaranteed to last a lifetime.
Instead of wishing away nine months of pregnancy, I'd have cherished every moment and realized that the wonderment growing inside me was the only chance in life to assist God in a miracle.
When my kids kissed me impetuously, I would never have said, "Later. Now go get washed up for dinner."
There would have been more "I love you's".. More "I'm sorrys" ...
But mostly, given another shot at life, I would seize every minute... look at it and really see it ... live it...and never give it back.

At one time in my life I would tell you several things. But now that I am older I think the only thing I would have changed was more education and know then what field I wanted to work in. As far as other things, even though some might be unpleasant, I would not change any of those. I have learned that all things in my life has been a learning experience and made me who I am today.

First off I'd made the correct choice and re-enlisted in the Military and used it as a career.
Next I'd have finished college,I was 1 quarter from graduating with my associate in Arts when I quit.
Then the young lady that I liked would have known it as I would have let her know instead of beating around the bush and losing her.

I had my first child 8 days before my 22nd bd. I would NEVER change that, but I would LOVE to change who her father is. Other than that, I wouldn't change anything. Everything I have done in my 37 years has been a learning experience that I have learned to treasure. Am I "mature" enough for you? Hope so.

I acted like I was an old woman when I was 22, I was married so I'd travel the world and live each day like it was my last. And not worry about getting old.

If I were 22 again, I would not marry so young. I would spend more time enjoying being me and single, travelling and doing a lot of volunteer work.

Oh God...where do I start...
I would buy loads of houses and do them up to rent out...I would not have married the woman I did...I would have waited for the woman I didn't marry...and I would track down the toddlers who went on to think of 'Big Brother' and drown them in a sand pit.
Oh...and in the early hours of september 11th 2001, I would phone in a bomb scare to Logan International and Newark airports in America to ground all flights.

I would have went to college. Maybe then, I wouldn't have ended up married to a man that became addicted to drugs.
