I listen to all, but I can count on one hand my true friends.

>> Are your friends different colors, nationalities, beliefs and ideas?
In the sense that we're all brothers and sisters so we should all be friends, then yes.

In the sense that we're talking about friends who I'd trust to babysit my kids, my friends are all different ethnicities and colors, but I have few friends outside my nation or beliefs.

>> Does everybody look and believe the same?
Clearly not. Not even among my friends and family. Not among my church.

My daughter calls my close friends "the rainbow coalition". That tells you something about their colors and nationalities. My casual friends are also from a wide variety of nationalities and ethnicities. Our beliefs are the same since we are all members of the same faith. We have a variety of ideas on non-religious matters and none of us look anything like another.

Completely different. Most of them are close minded, different colors, different style, they have no ideas. They don't really know me...come to think of it the people here know me more than they do, I can't have a conversation that I want to have with any of them because they are so jaded and ignorant. But they are the only people I could find that won't talk smack about each other and pretend to be best friends...my best friend is the only one like me♥

Yes, and my family is that way too! No we do not all look or believe the same way. Two of my mother's favorite sayings were: "It takes all kinds to make a world" and "Variety is the spice of life." I believe them both. I was taught to treat everyone with respect regardless of who or what they are.
