I'm really scared...pleaseee helppp!?
Okay, so on Friday my English teacher told us to bring our previous essay that she had corrected and graded in again. She had collected it after giving us our grades and supposidly, given it back after a while. Thing is, I don't ever remember getting it back and I even went through allllllllllllllll my stuff- including other subject folders and notebooks...&& did not find it. Thing is, she's REALLY moody with me..some days, she's really sweet and friendly with me and the others,well...she's just plain rude and yea...I'm worried to tell her I don't remember getting it back and if we did, I don't/can't find it..
What do you think i Should do?!....=[[[

Tell her you can't find it. If she gets mad, just be honest with her and say that you looked everywhere. Then if she doesn't believe you, say "I'm sorry that you don't believe me. For this reason, I will not be able to complete the assignment". And look her straight in the eye while she is talking, but look down and side to side while you are telling her what happened. Keep your eyebrows scrunched close to your forehead to make a look of worry. Make it seem as though you are distressed.

I understand this problem well being a teacher. First make sure you look everywhere. If you still can't find it. Speak to her in an unconfrentational manner. Say "I can't seem to locate my paper and was wondering if you handed back all of the papers you had?" She shouldn't give you an attitude if your are polite and respectful. If she doesn't have it then you should accept it and not make it seem like you are pushing blame off on her.
Also next time you should start a folder system that works for you so you have what you need next time and if you don't you have a actual case you can make with your teacher.
Good Luck

Here's what I would do - I would re-write a similar essay, and try to make it better.
Before class or some time when the teacher is available before the essay is due, you could say to her that you don't recall having the essay returned to you, you looked through all of your stuff, couldn't find it, so the only option you had was to write a new essay. It would also help if you could point out a couple of things that you improved in the rewrite.

I even have handy it to him for sticking it out all that factor. If i'm in a million/2 as good a shape at his age i would be greater beneficial than happy. i've got not observed the video games in so long I have not have been given any thought how good he has been enjoying on the tip. yet it incredibly is definitely on the vendors of the group not him.

Before discussing with your teacher, start by asking some of your classmates if they recieved their paper back. If none of them have their papers back, then it seems you might not have a problem; however, if they all recieved their papers back then you might have a problem. Is it possible you where absent the day the other students recieved their papers? Try to gather as many facts as you can before talking to your teacher; this will put you in a better position to not take crap from a moody teacher, while apearing calm, credible, and as well informed as possible. Good luck.

As a teacher, I can say that if you are sincere, you tend to have more breaks than those who are just trying to scam. Teachers tend to be able to differentiate between the two.
Don't make up a story and don't go in with a friend, do it one on one. Perhaps she misplaced it...believe it or not, we are guilty of that with the load we have to correct.
Good luck.

Calll some of your class mates and ask if they got theirs back. If so and you can't find yours, you will lhave to tell your teacher. Did you look in the waste basket, car, loan it to a friend. Just keep looking unless you have other home work to do. Good luck.

Be up front and honest with her. If you aren't happy with the outcome, and you truly feel you are right, then speak with the dean of that department. But only if you truly believe you are correct.
Good luck!
