Sweetie,anytime that area is touched,you need to wash your hands before and after doing so.That area attracts bacteria,as well as it gives it off,which is why you need to wash before and after.There is no reason why you shouldnt wash your hands after doing so.If there is a specific reason you cant,i would avoid it until i was able to clean up properly.Which means,washing your hands,and cleaning up that area.There is nothing in this world like practicing good hygiene,you dont want infections of any sort im sure,so make sure your hands are clean before,and they are washed up afterwards.Good luck and have a good day.

I would. You don't really want to get whatever is on your hands in food and around other people. That area contains all sorts of bacteria. Plus, your hands just feel kind of dirty. I would treat it like going to the bathroom or playing with a dog, you should always wash your hands.
