the bach flower remedies; I do not have any experience with.

I DO have experience with Essential oils.

Essential oils are the volatile oils that exist in plants.

Essential oils are extracted via distilation. It usually takes anywhere from 200 -1000 pounds of the herb to get 1 fluid ounce of the pure essential oil.

scents affect our moods and moods affect our bodies.

There are lots of good books on aroma therapy that tells what each essential oil is useful for.

But from your question; I would recommend that you practise meditation.

Meditation WILL help lower your stress, and will help you with memory loss, and when you learn to relax your body; you will often find that allergies get better.

You can learn meditation free or at minimal expense.

My blog entry later today will be teaching people how to do Zen. You can learn Actualism meditation free online at http://www.actualism.org. I think there are places online that teaches vipissana (insight) meditation too.

You can also meditate by thinking a mantra such as (mu), (Om), (Om mani padme hum), (Namu Amita Butsu). In you don't like any of those; pick a sound and intone that with your mind.

You can meditate by following your breath and observing where the temperature changes occurs, and if you can; try to notice where the breath changes directions.

If you find it difficult to meditate in the beginning; you might think of getting a binaural tape such as "Deep Insight" from Brain Sync and listen to the tape or CD via headphones.

Binaural tapes play different tones in each ear, and your brain harmonizes those tones, and gets both hemispheres of the brain working together.
