I see this phone has GSM and WCDMA. Does that mean that it can work on Sprint as well?

WCDMA is the next generation of GSM, primarily operating in Japan right now. WCDMA uses CDMA as the radio access, like the CDMA protocol, but the networking scheme uses the GSM networking scheme.

WCDMA not the same CDMA protocol as the CDMA found in Verizon and Sprint systems. So, that phone you linked to will NOT work w/ Sprint.

BTW, the extension to CDMA is called CDMA 2000.
