I think we all connect songs to various times or events in our lives, but there are usually a couple that by the 2nd or 3rd note, you've been transported mentally. Which song is it for you and what time of your life does it take you back to? I will update in a few minutes after I ponder which one is the most powerful to me.

'Treat Her Like a Lady' done by Cornelius Brothers and Sister Rose. Funny, I heard it yesterday, and I remember my brother having this '45' record when I was about 5 or 6 yrs old. What a memory !!! Thanks.

the song that takes me back is saving a life by the fray because my cousin died of drowning. but she was with her dad and they had no life jackets on and they had a crapy canoe. and she was in the back in the 2nd canoe.but it thinks that she could still be alive if she was with us or not with her dad.

Freshmen -the verve....Reminds me of when life was simpler and I could hang out with my girlfriend and get stoned while watching the stars on a warm summer night. Damn. I really miss that.
