i want to get one for a pet, but i don't know where you would buy one!

Try an animal shelter. Some people get them at pet stores then can't keep them anymore..

you can buy a hedgehog at alot of local petshops they might just have to order it but it is not a friend you can play with it has sharp quills the novelity wil wear off fast i dont know what state you live in but i live in louisiana and there are a few petshops with them in stock

A hedgehog is not a pet and you can not buy them. They belong into nature - leave them there!

Well there is a store in Lewisville Texas call Petland and sometimes they have hedgehogs and they also have alot of others if you interested in that

you can always look for a breeder in your area who will sell you a little one that is weaned
