Baby oil, mineral spirits (paint thinner), adhesive remover, goo-gone. I'd buy some medical adhesive remover...it's made to break down the adhesive from band aids and medical tape....can be bought in small quantities at drug stores....and usually has a great citrus orange smell Good Luck

Spray it with WD40 and let it sit for a while and than use paper towels to wipe it up. The area will need to be washed after due to the oily surface being left but WD40 does a lot of stuff Very handy for alot of things. The other thing to use is Elmer's Goo Be Gone It is an adhesive remover, you put it on, leave it and wipe and wash with water after. It works but WD40 is faster. Get Elmer's at Staples or ask for adhesive remover at store like Home Depot

There is a product called 'Goo-b-Gone' that work pretty good. The other thing could take the finish off the floor, that is Acetone, also found in nail polish remover.

Try using a little baking powder and scrub. the powder will attach to the sticky stuff and get it to let loose.
, if this doesn't work make a water paste with it.

You need to let it get a little dirty, then try removing it with rubbing alcohol or dish detergent, something like that.
