One, I don't think everyone things that. Secondly, this is a war on terrorism, and the terrorists want to destroy the US and any idea of freedom. Saddam was a terrorist-in-chief, so an obvious target for the war on terrorism. Saddam had the capability of using/creating WMD to allow other terrorists to use them in our country, which would destroy our way of life.

Don't forget the original justification of the war against Iraq.It was the weapon of mass destruction(WMD) not to free Iraqi people from Saddam as you are saying.
Then it appear that WMD is a fake.Bush stated then that his mission is to fight the terrorists(there was no terrorism in Saddam time), then he claimed that his objective is to free Iraqi people!
Do you notice how Bush is twisting the objective of the war and ling on Americans to cover his mistakes and crimes against Iraqi people for the interest of Iran and Israel not for the US interest.American people should ask him and stop supporting him.Iraq was free but now it is not because of US imperial occupation,

no they were there to find WMD. We never went there to "free the people". It has never been twisted, the majority of Iraqi's are happy sadaom is gone but they still don't want the troops there. and why is it only the U.S people are targeting? British troops are there too. Spain was there and also Poland(I think). The U.S didn't force them there they went voluntary. You should study up on what is really going on there.

Kind of hard to figure out why they were sent there, when they were sent there without a plan, other than to protect oil wells like they have been for the past two decades.

If you remember we went to war in Iraq at first to fight terrorism, then it was because of weapons of mass destruction. Now, who knows?
