Tried them all, use Electrasol. You also NEED softenened water. Unfortunately is hard to remain film free. You will have to use a rinse agent to help with that. Its available in the soap section as well. The gel soaps will plug up your dishwasher water jets over time as the soaps are a form of clay based material.
So I ALWAYS use powders.

I am a tried and true Cascade fan but I also use Jet Dry in my dishwasher. It does make a difference.

I gotta go with Cascade Complete also, but make sure you get the gel and DON'T get a lemon or citrus. That's what causes the etching of glass and discoloration of your flatware.

good god... im flat broke too-so ive been there until now, attempt employing some laundry detergent, very virtually 2-3 teaspoons, cuts grease, and scents good, and wil get your dishes sparkling sparkling!! good success!
